A little bit about me

My passion is caring and teaching all children. I have had the privilege of working as a nanny as well as previously a preschool teacher at a daycare. Working at the daycare I had the opportunity to work with infants, toddlers, preschool aged children, as well as children with special needs. As a caregiver I understand it is necessary to have patience understanding, problem solving skills as well as the ability to understand each child's individual needs.
Children are always full of surprises and I enjoy learning new ways to form strong connections with them to help them develop in this early stage of their life. I am a 24-year-old college student currently studying child and family development.
As a nanny my aspirations are not only to care for a child's basic needs; but to allow them to grow mentally and physically through active play, reading, crafts, as well as games that encourage children to use their imagination.
