More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have two years of day care experience under my belt. I was the lead teacher at a Children's learning center for a year. I created lesson plans, crafts and educational activities for 12 - 21 2 year olds. I was also a floating teacher for The Godddard School of Dublin Ohio for a year. There I floated from room to room as needed during the day to assist lead teachers.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I Love the great outdoors! Hiking state parks, exploring metro gardens, playing at the local play grounds, playing in the creek and swimming. I also love to get out within our local city and explore. Everything from zoos, science centers, festivals, fairs, historical locations and sites, animal sanctuaries, working Farms. I also really love to read so our local library is a personal favorite. I love story time, arts and crafts and just spending time among the shelves reading the books.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being a Nanny is, in my opinion, one of the most important jobs one could do! We are entrusted with people's most precious gifts. We are helping mold and shape the future generation of humans. We help people learn the ropes in life and we help parents keep their lives together. It takes a village and I am proud to have the most important job of being a nanny.

My favorite Nanny moments are the small day to day moments. When they finally pronounce your name properly, or they finally master a task they've been working on, the small quiet moments when they hold your hand or hug you for no reason.
