I have 20 years experience as a nanny. I have been a temporary live-in nanny for a prestigious family in England and have had several live ot nanny positions here on Long Island. My last nanny job lasted for 12 years(the children were newborn, 1, and 5 when I started). My experience is newborn through 18 years. I have experience with peanut allergies, ADD/ADHD, CP, and Juvenile Arthritis as well as twin and preemie experiences.

The most important part about being a nanny is remembering that you are shaping the lives of the little ones that you are in charge of protecting, loving and caring for. At the end of each nanny position it's important that you have left your charges feeling loved, confident in who they are, and ready for the world around them.

I cared for children with severe allergies, ADD/ADHD, Juvenile Arthritis, Cerebral Palsy, Preemies born 24wk and 29wks gestation.
The most important part about being a nanny...
There's so many moments that it's hard to choose anyone particular moment. I would say it was the ones where we were just being silly, laughing, dancing and singing. Those are always the best moments.
