A little bit about me

Hi, good morning. My name is Julie Chawla. I’m from Colombia, where I earned my bachelor’s degree in law and worked for almost 14 years in governmental entities focused on protecting children. My native language is Spanish, and my English level is intermediate.

I moved to the U.S. in 2021, and for the past two years, I have worked in Westlake with the Zimmerman family, taking care of their newborn, Tanner. Tanner was just three months old when I started, and it was amazing to be part of his journey as he grew up. Some of our favorite activities included taking long walks and going to the park.

I worked Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and also took on overnight and weekend shifts as Tanner’s parents often had commitments outside of Austin. I’m deeply grateful for the time I shared with Tanner and his family.
