A little bit about me

Hello, I am 24 years old and I have been working with kids since I was around 10! Crazy as it sounds yes since I was ten. I have 5 younger siblings (all boys) and I have babysat my siblings, cousins (newborn to 15), and a few of my parents' friends and colleagues. I am striving to become a teacher in the near future and kids are really interesting to be around! I have worked in a school system as a sub and an educational assistant in groups ranging from 3 to 14 years old. I am new to the area because I come from a small town In New Mexico. I have also worked with kids with special needs as well as behavioral issues. My brothers have helped me along the way to become a teacher because they are different and special to other kids and they only have had a few teachers accommodate their needs. I want to be an adult that a child knows I can be a safe place and person, they know they are protected and know I will be there for them if they need it!
