In a different life I was a soldier in US Army for 6 yrs attached to an Evac. Hospital . I worked as an O.R. TECH

I believe as a Nanny I best able to meet the families needs when I become integral part of the family unit and in lock step with the parents values, style of parenting and goal of their child's development. First and foremost is ensuring child's health to include Covid precautions, and the child's safety. A good working relationship includes open communication with parents to ensure their parenting principles and values are being reinforced, while being respectful, nurturing, kind and mindful of a child's unique personality.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with special needs children includes providing Respit Care for ages newborn, infants toddlers and elementary school students.
I have work with ABA therapist to support and reinforce therapy for nonverbal children on the spectrum, children with Down's syndrome, and, children with brain injuries caused by drugs used during pregnacy . I have assisted with trauma inform therapy for children that have suffered abuse . I am family with RIE method an have practiced Magda Gerber principles with successful outcome.
