More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve worked in two different centers totaling to around 5-6 months, and I’ve previously babysat for a family consistently for a year.
I’ve also babysat countless times for family and friends.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My personal hobbies are cooking and baking treats, so I of course love to do that with kiddos who are interested in it and can safely participate.
I’m also very well aware on how important outside time is for the kids, so I really enjoy going to the park and going on walks.
But above all else, whether it’s outside or inside activities, anything that the kids perceive as fun, I am willing to do!

The most important part about being a nanny...
Is being able to see the little ones grow and develop into their own people with wonderful and unique personalities. Also, being able to be there when they learn new things, and develop new skills.
I think it’s the most wonderful and beautiful thing when a child learns something new and you can see the excitement and confidence in their faces. Being able to foster that feeling and help grow their confidence, etc. is one of the best feelings as a babysitter.

My experience with special needs children...
Is quite minuscule. But, I am always ready and willing to learn the best way to accommodate the kiddos and their parents in any way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Although every day comes with it’s own laughs, challenges, and surprises, I think my favorite moments as a babysitter has to be:
I was caring for a little girl full time, while living with my mom so we all spent a lot of time together. One day, I was babysitting like normal but she had reached her mimicking phase, so she’d follow everyones movements and do it to. It’s important to note that my mom uses headphones to talk hands/phone free and it takes her a little time to put the headphones in and then answer the phone in time. This day, my mom had stepped out of the room to use the restroom. While she was gone, her phone rung. Because of how much time we all spent together, when the phone rung, the baby started to answer the phone exactly how my mom would! She plugged the headphones into the phone, then rushed to put in the ear pieces in time, and then couldn’t answer it in time. She then sighed and picked up the phone to try to call someone back, just like my mom! It was hilarious.
