More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been a full time nanny for 2 amazing families previously, the first was for a 2 year old and I was with her until she was 6, and the second was a 6 month old and was with until she was 3. I have done a lot of volunteer work at different daycares that were short staffed, also sitting in for pre-k/kindergarten teachers, and not to mention the lifetime experience I had helping raise my 2 younger siblings as well as 8 cousins.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy doing fun, creative, and engaging activities with children, such as arts and crafts, coloring, reading stories, playing games, spending time outdoors, and exploring nature. I love encouraging children to use their imagination, learn new things, and express themselves while making sure they feel safe, happy, and included. I also enjoy helping with age-appropriate learning activities, baking simple treats together, and creating fun memories through everyday moments!

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel comfortable, valued, and cared for. Building trust with both the children and their parents is essential. I believe in being patient, dependable, attentive, and understanding each child’s individual needs while encouraging their growth, learning, and confidence. A great nanny doesn’t just supervise children but helps them feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves.

My experience with special needs children...

I have had limited experience as a teachers aide for a elementary special needs class.. But I have an open mind and am always happy to learn. (:

The most important part about being a nanny...

I love when they bring me drawings or art projects they made specifically with me in mind, it makes me feel good knowing I make a big enough impact in their lives for them to remember me outside of my shifts. My job is to help raise our future generation, so the small things like that remind me I’m doing a good job.
