A little bit about me

Hello my name is Kadence Welch, I am 21 years old. I grew up being the oldest out of all my cousins, so I am use to helping out my Aunts and Uncles. I then helped my friend’s mom’s at home daycare and that’s when I grew my passion with working with children. My senior year I did my senior pace project and did voluntary hours at a preschool. After then I graduated and I’m currently enrolled at college to eventually be elementary school teacher. My last job I worked at I was an after school program teacher/ tutor. I worked there for 2 years and found myself working with children from grades kinder to 6th. Most of the time my classroom was kinder to 3rd grade and helped occasionally with the older kids. All my life I have enjoyed working with children and just overall helping them and being around them in a way possible. I loved the job a last had, but unfortunately there were city cut backs, so I got laid off. Regardless of the situation I would still love to work with kids in any way.
