My absolute favorite thing to do with children are arts and crafts, as you can never go wrong with it. There are so many ways you could go about it and it truly depends one the child's interests. I also enjoy outdoor activities such picnics in the park, going to the zoo, or teaching them how to play frisbee haha :)
