A little bit about me

My name is Kaia Cullenward and I am from Sioux City, Iowa and now living in Des Moines! I got my undergraduate degree in Psychology in 2022 about an hour away from the city. I have academic experience with child psychology (to the advanced level), professional experience working with children in a camp setting, preschool, and a Behavior Analysis clinic teaching skills to early-childhood learners on the autism spectrum. I grew as the oldest of four, and have experience with all ages of children. I also have experience with a variety of challenging behaviors. Children are just small people figuring out life, and I know how to empathetically provide support while teaching children important skills and ways of communicating. I enjoy arts and crafts, gardening, music activities, science, and outdoor activities in the spring and summer. I am energetic and active and have never met a child I can't keep up with!
