Some activities I love doing with kids include reading stories, playing outside, doing fun arts and crafts, and using our imagination with pretend play. The most important part of being a nanny is making sure the child is always comfortable and having fun.

My experience with special needs children...

I have spent time working with special-needs kids when I intern at my pre-school. I’m with them one-on-one and helping them go over what they’ve learned. When a child used an iPad to communicate, I made sure to be patient and give them the time they needed to express themselves. I also spoke slowly and used simple words so they could understand and feel supported.
