The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is two things. One safety and comfortability, with the world today I believe that the right nanny will treat the kids she/ he is looking after as their own in all situations. Two fun and learning , the right nanny will help/ create memories for the children by making fun activities for them to do and along teach them through those activities.
My experience with special needs children...
My brother is Autistic, and my parents are always out of town so I am entrusted to care for him for periods at a time. I also have private swim lessons with a family friend who is autistic and has low mobility. At Aquatots, I am one of the only coaches to be able to teach special needs kids with knowledge of the behavior at hand.
The most important part about being a nanny...
A memory I recall of my nanny experiences and would have to be my favorite would be when i was taking a girl in my neighborhood to her horse lessons she requested to listen to Taylor Swift on the way there to so that she could “ get in the right mindset”. I told her of course we can listen to tay tay. From the moment we turn on the music we spent the whole car ride there and back screaming to the lyrics of the queen of pop, Taylor Swift.
