A little bit about me

Hi there! I am currently in school at UNA for my BBA in Marketing, after moving back home and taking a two-year break after leaving Troy University where I was a nursing major. During my two-year break, I have been a nanny for a family in Owens Cross Roads who have been so wonderful to me and continue to be to this day! I am looking for another family to nanny for in addition to the first family as I continue pursuing my degree.

I have recently started nannying for another family in the Athens area from June 2nd-August 7th on T, TH, F. Other than that I have full availability for the summer on M,W and most weekends unless already scheduled for another family.

In the fall I will continue the commute to UNA which is an hour and 15 minutes there and back my class schedule is 10:30 am-1:15 pm on M, W and 9:30 am-12:15 pm on T, TH.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been nannying for a family in Owens Cross Roads for two years now. I worked as a full-time live-out nanny for the most precious family caring for a 2-year-old boy and a 4-year-old girl for 6 months in a contract. After the contract ended I continued to nanny for them part-time as still do to this day!

I also have previous experience as a summer camp counselor for ages 5-9 years old, and a year as a full-time nursery teacher at a daycare for ages 6 months to 18 months. I also babysat for parents on the weekends and late work nights after daycare as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy storytime, walks, crafts, playtime, and singing with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I personally have two nephews that are my heart and soul that I absolutely love helping caring for and babysitting. So I know how important it is to feel safe and secure, in knowing your child is getting optimal care. I can assure you, given the opportunity, I will prove to be just that

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had a tummy ache one time and the little girl I nanny for said "OH NO! Are you about to go to heaven?" then her brother yelled out "NO!! We love you too much!!"

It was a hilarious and sweet moment that I will never forget!
