When I was nannying a 5 year old princess we would have favorite songs we'd love to sing and dance together to and there was one song in particular "Shelter from the Storm" by Bob Dylan (the live at Hughes Stadium Version) that would always make her laugh cause I'd sing it in a silly way. There was one day where she was having a bad day and I tried everything to try to help but nothing worked until I got the idea of dressing up in a silly costume and "perform" the song for her in the silly way that always makes her laugh and of course she went back to that happy and funny girl she always is and we sang and danced to the song together and at the end she just hugged me for a good 5 minutes and that was our day. Bob Dylan may be the cure to bad day I think!

After high school I used to help out my parents with watching my cousin who has special needs he was diagnosed with autism. My job was to make sure he's dressed for school, eats breakfast, and on the bus at a certain time. In the afternoons I made sure he took a bath, had a snack, did his homework if he had any. And just watched t.v. with him until my parents came home. Dinner would already be made, we would just be waiting for them to come up to eat together.
Three years ago during the time I was pregnant with my son, I was also babysitting for my sister in Virginia.
