The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part about being a nanny is to be someone they feel comfortable around. They don’t have to hide their emotions, if it’s being goofy or having a hard day and needing to be grumpy for the night. I think if they feel like they can be themselves around me, I’ve done a good job.
My experience with special needs children...
I had the privilege of taking care of a little boy that has autism. He opened up my world. I was able to learn how he sees the world. He made me a better person for sure. I was able to learn so much from him
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have way too many great moments to pick a favorite. With all the kids I’ve watched I have made great memories with. If I had to narrow it down I would probably say I love the little moments. Just the little bonding moments, when I can see how much we have grown and how much they trust me to take care of them. It always makes me sit back and be grateful for my job.
