Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have cared for children in many different environments including a daycare as a lead infant teacher and a nanny in a couple different homes. I have also worked in a kids club and babysat for many different families.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
My favorite activities to do with children is definitely dance parties!! All ages love them! I also enjoy doing crafts and going outside as much as possible!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part about being a nanny is making sure the children are cared before above and beyond and expectations. Making sure the children feel loved and cared for and as comfortable as possible is a big part of the job as well as having fun!! I also believe that making sure the parents are comfortable with leaving their children around you is one of the most important aspects of this job which takes a lot of open and honest communication.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with a few special needs children including some with Autism and Down syndrome as well as cerebral palsy. These children are so sweet and amazing and sometimes just need a little more love and care and patience and that’s okay!!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think my favorite nanny moment would have to be when the little girl i had been nannying for turned one and i got invited to her party! She was super excited the whole day. Its so amazing to see the kids you care for smile and have fun and interact with their family!
