My experience has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of child development, which I use to provide personalized care that meets the unique needs of each child. Also, I took a child psychology class in college which allowed me to have a better understanding of children's needs.

For preschool-aged children, I like to organize creative arts and crafts projects, play dress-up, and engage in imaginative play. With school-aged children, I enjoy playing board games, sports, and outdoor activities such as walking and riding a bike. I also enjoy helping with homework, organizing educational activities, and encouraging children to develop their interests and passions.

The most important part of being a nanny is ensuring the safety and happiness of each child. As a caregiver, it is my responsibility to protect and care for children. I also believe that being a nanny is more than just a job; it is a chance to make a meaningful impact in a child's life and contribute to their future success.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience working with a special needs child with ADHD and autism. During my two months of working with the child, I demonstrated exceptional patience, understanding, and adaptability. I took the time to learn about the child's unique needs and challenges, and worked closely with the child's parents. I used various strategies and techniques to help the child manage their behaviors, stay focused, and engage in activities that promoted their development. Unfortunately, due to the military the family ended up moving which cut this position short.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have had many memorable moments during my time as a nanny, but one of my favorites was when I played "Baby Shark" at my previous daycare job. As soon as the music started, all the children got up and started running around with big smiles on their faces. I loved seeing the joy and excitement on the children's faces as they danced and sang along to the song. It was a simple moment, but it showed the power of music and play in bringing children together and creating happy memories. This moment reminded me of the importance of engaging with children in fun and creative ways, and the impact it can have on their development and well-being.
