I’ve worked at three daycares, where I served as an infant teacher, toddler teacher, and floater, gaining hands-on experience with children of various ages and developmental stages. In addition to my daycare work, I’ve also volunteered in youth and kids ministry at local churches, helping to create a positive, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow.

I enjoy engaging children in a variety of fun and educational activities that support their growth and creativity. Some of my favorites include arts and crafts, storytime, music and movement, and outdoor play. I also love planning sensory activities and learning games that encourage exploration and hands-on discovery. Whether it’s helping toddlers build social skills through group play or guiding older children in creative projects, I find joy in watching them learn, laugh, and grow.

One of my favorite nanny moments was seeing a child accomplish something they had been working hard to achieve. I had been helping a toddler learn to put on their shoes independently, and after many tries, they finally did it all by themselves. The look of pride on their face was priceless, and it reminded me why I love working with children, watching their confidence grow and celebrating those little milestones together.
