Hi! My name is Kara, I am 40 years old, a Boat Captain, a Doula and a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. I have been here in Mid Coast Maine since November 2025 doing clinical hours toward an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant credential. .

I love all things outdoors, through all seasons. I believe in fostering a sense of curiosity and respect for the natural world in our youth while nurturing creativity and imagination and independence . I am a firm believer in children’s abilities to learn new things, do hard things, and understand deep concepts in ways that adults no longer can.

I have lots of experience with kids from throughout my life and am looking for the right family to spend time with and learn from.
