More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Starting in high school I volunteered at safety town (Fairview Park) and summer camps (Camp Fire USA Fremont) - I worked at childcare centers - (Sweet Kiddles & Fairview Park Education Center). I’ve nannied from multiple families as well as babysat.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I absolutely love spending time outside, walks, backyard games, taking children to the park. I also love reading and doing arts and crafts. Making slime, painting.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Allowing the kids to be little. Understanding that they have good days and bad days and that’s okay - sometimes we all have big feelings. Letting go off the little stuff (if the toys aren’t put away perfectly - the toys will survive and be okay). Laughing often, reminding myself I’m only human, lots of dance parties, creating a happy and safe space for kids to grow and thrive.

My experience with special needs children...

I nannied for years for a little girl with Prader Willis Syndrome, narcolepsy, low muscle tone, scoliosis, hip dysplasia, Life threatening food allergies and autism.

I learned so much from this family and am very thankful for the time spent with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have so many favorite moments, so many times I’ve been reminded how lucky I am to work with these kids. Having conversations with kids who couldn’t talk when I met them. Lots of I love yous, playing in forts, playing outside, laughing. Too many to count.
