My experience with special needs children...
I am a certified behavioral health professional as my career. I've worked one on one and worked also with multiple kids in a residential setting. I have experience working with kids that have been diagnosed with ASD, ADHD, a variety of intellectual and developmental delays, down syndrome, PTSD, anxiety/depression, RAD, and other mental illnesses. I have also worked with kids who were nonverbal and struggle with fine motor skills.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was when I went to the child's bar mitzvah. I had worked with this kid for 2 years and he was proud to introduce me to his extended family and friends.
