A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Karen and I am a mother of 5 grown, wonderful children (2 biological, 3 step children). I have 20+ years experience working with young children as an Early Childhood Educator. I taught Kindergarten for 15 years, then opened my own Kindergarten/Preschool which I ran and taught for another 6 years. After closing my school, I knew I still wanted to work with children and their families, but needed a break from the classroom and chose to become a nanny. Such a rewarding decision! I enjoy being active and spending time outdoors, whether it be going for walks/bike rides, the beach, playground, reading books, arts and crafts, or any activity your child/children have an interest in.
