A little bit about me

I am a devoted mom of a one and a half year old boy. I'm hoping to babysit someone generally close around his age... That way they get to socialize and have fun together. I have a babyproofed home in a safe neighborhood. Furniture is anchored to the walls, the outlets are covered, there is a baby gate guarding the kitchen, etc. There's plenty of toys to play with. My son has a whole room full of them, and he doesnt mind sharing. I'm willing to cook for them and accommodate their needs however you see fit. I have no pets. I was in the military, and I worked in the medical field for Acadian Ambulance. I am CPR and BLS certified. I can provide the credentials if needed. I've got plenty of love and energy to share with your little one(s).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I often sit down in my son's room and play with his toys with him. We make towers out of blocks. One of the particular favorites is his crate where you slide shapes into the corresponding holes. We push cars around together, etc. I also like to chase him around the house and tickle him, which for whatever reason he finds hilarious. Whenever it's nice outside, I often take him out to run around in the grass. If you're comfortable with it, I can also take them out to the pool. My son has a life vest, and he thoroughly enjoys splashing around. Whenever it is time to wind down for a nap, I often just cuddle with him on the couch and turn on some educational cartoons.
