The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and trustworthy environment where children feel comfortable being themselves. A great nanny should be patient, attentive, and dependable while respecting the parents’ routines and values. I believe children need someone who will not only care for their basic needs, but also listen to them, encourage them, help them learn, and make them feel loved and supported.
