More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Before becoming a stay-at-home mom, I worked at Country Home Learning Center in San Antonio, Texas [phone number hidden]), where I helped create a nurturing environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Since then, I’ve stayed busy raising my own children while also babysitting for other families. I’ve cared for infants and preschoolers, providing a safe, engaging environment where they could learn and grow. I also volunteered at Fay Galloway Elementary in 2012 and worked at SEEDS, an afterschool program in Michigan, from April 2021 to November 2022. At SEEDS, I created activities that supported kids’ social and academic development.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part of being a nanny for me is creating a space where kids feel safe, loved, and free to be themselves. I want to nurture their curiosity and independence, while also offering structure and support when they need it. It’s all about balancing freedom with guidance. I love watching kids explore, learn, and solve problems on their own, but I’m always there to give them that gentle push or extra hand when necessary. Building trust with both the kids and parents is huge for me—knowing they can count on me to be reliable, communicative, and flexible to meet their needs is key.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Last night, my 8-year-old son and I were building Legos together. He asked me to help him build a house, but as we worked, he started talking a lot and fidgeting with a Lego piece while I kept listening and building the house. After a bit, he suddenly realized and said, "I feel like I’m just talking and you’re the one building the house!" I couldn’t help but laugh and told him, "That’s okay!"
