I have been a nanny for 8 years for children aged 3 days to 14 years. During that time, I have also volunteered for children with diabetes camps where I was in charge of children aged 8-16.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy doing anything outside! whether it is going to the park, swimming, going for a walk, I love it all. I also love taking kids on outings to places like the library, aquarium, zoo as well as classes where they can be social with kids around their age! For older kids, I love to craft and create fun recipes to try!

The most important part about being a nanny for me is the relationship I get to build with each child I have the pleasure of taking care of!
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children who have cerebral palsy, epilepsy, requires a feeding tube, ADHD, low and high functioning autism, non-verbal, wheelchair bound and type 1 diabetes (I also have T1D)! I am more than willing to learn and grow with children who have other special needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite an most memorable moment was when I finally saw one of my nanny babies learn to crawl after extensive therapy and work! I was so proud of her!
