Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
worked with families on beacon Hill in Boston near command, brought child to sign language class, Spanish class, play groups, etc. Cambridge/Belmont family required lots of outings into Harvard Square. Lots of bus trips/subway to the aquarium, museum of science, etc.. Bellingham family was mostly in-home care, but as they grew family provided car for me to bring them to play groups swim lessons at the Y etc. current family prefers in-home daycare only, but we certainly have lots of adventures outside, crafts etc.

I am enjoy age, appropriate/sensory crafts. Lots of independent play encouraged focalization, lots of reading, tons of singing.

i enjoy observing every little milestone that are so subtle and often overlooked, focusing on a picture or gesture. coos, smiles… sound mimicking… blowing kisses to Mummy and Daddy as they head off to work… even little acts of defiance as they become their own person…. it’s truly wonderful to watch them “ get things” and when it clicks it’s a privilege to be a part of the magic.
