My experience with special needs children includes working as a paraprofessional in the classroom, where I supported students with autism and other developmental needs. I’ve also had the privilege of caring for children with special needs in home settings, creating safe routines and encouraging independence. On a personal level, I am also a mom to a son with autism, which has given me daily, hands-on experience, patience, and a deep understanding of how to meet children where they are. These experiences have shaped my ability to provide compassionate, flexible, and consistent care, while celebrating each child’s unique strengths.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was taking my son and my neighbor’s children to the zoo. We came around the corner and saw this giant giraffe up close—it was so magical watching their faces light up with excitement and curiosity. Moments like that remind me how much joy there is in experiencing the world through children’s eyes, and how special it is to be part of their memories.
