A little bit about me

My interests include graphic design, children's books, crafts, music, trying new food, yoga/barre, and paddle boarding! I began working with children when I was a teenager, babysitting and working with kids at church.

I majored in elementary education at Wingate University and was a classroom teacher in VA for 6 years (grades 4 + K). I moved to CA in 2015 and worked as a full-time nanny for a family for 3 years (ages 1, 3, and 6 when I started). I also did a nanny-share and nannied for 3 other families off and on during that time (ages 1, 3, and 4 when I started). I began taking online classes at Rocky Mountain College of Art + Design in 2018 to pursue a graphic design degree. I moved to UT in 2019 and worked part-time while continuing to take classes. I finished my degree in 2021 and then returned to the classroom from Fall 2022 to Spring 2024 in Salt Lake City (grades 6 + 3). I am now looking for a nanny position for the next year as I continue to freelance on the side.
