"We have had the absolute pleasure of having Kate with our family for the past two years, caring for our two children (now ages 2 and 4). From day one, she has been kind, respectful, and incredibly loving. Our kids adore her, and it’s easy to see why.
She not only keeps them safe and happy but also helps them grow every day. She has built a wonderful routine for them—reading books, practicing words, letters, and numbers, doing arts and crafts, and even arranging playdates. Her ability to combine fun with learning has been such a gift for our children.
What stands out most is her warmth and patience. She treats our kids with so much care and respect, and they light up when she arrives. As parents, we couldn’t ask for more peace of mind knowing they are in such capable and nurturing hands.
We feel so fortunate to have had her as part of our family and cannot recommend her highly enough."

"Kate cared for our infant son daily from the time he was 3 months old until he was 5 months old, and has also babysat both him and our 3-year-old daughter. Kate is exceptionally capable with infants—always calm, loving, and safety-conscious. Even our toddler adores her—she often asks when Kate will come back to babysit again!
Kate is not only wonderful with children, but also a true professional. She is a fast learner, always proactive in asking questions to make sure she understands our preferences and routines. She welcomed feedback, adjusted easily when needed, and always approached her work with warmth and care. She was consistently punctual, reliable, and flexible—qualities that make all the difference in childcare.
We feel so lucky to have had her support during such an important stage in our son’s life, and we would recommend her without hesitation to any family looking for a trustworthy, nurturing, and dependable nanny."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I volunteered at a church in Colombia from 2019 to 2022, where I was responsible for leading groups of children of different ages, usually between 2 and 9 years old. I organized and guided a variety of creative activities, especially those involving music, singing, and movement. These activities helped the children express themselves, develop their coordination, and enjoy a safe, joyful space to grow and connect with others. This experience strengthened my love for working with children and inspired me to pursue a professional path in childcare.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Throughout my experience as a nanny, au pair, and volunteer, I have enjoyed engaging children in a wide range of fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities. These include music and movement games, singing, dancing, storytelling, and arts and crafts to stimulate creativity. I often plan outdoor play, visits to parks, libraries, and museums, as well as sensory activities for infants like tummy time and visual stimulation. With toddlers and preschoolers, I encourage learning through puzzles, books, building blocks, and role-play games. For school-aged kids, I help with homework, reading, and creating structured routines. I also support emotional development by promoting kindness, patience, and positive discipline. My goal is always to create a safe, loving, and enriching environment where children feel happy and confident.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me, the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel valued, secure, and free to be themselves. A nanny is not just a caregiver, but also a role model, a guide, and a consistent presence in a child’s daily life. It’s about building trust—with both the child and the parents—and being someone the family can rely on. I believe that nurturing a child's emotional well-being, encouraging their curiosity, and supporting their growth at every stage is at the heart of this role. It’s a big responsibility, but also a beautiful opportunity to make a positive impact on a child’s life.
My experience with special needs children...
Although I don’t have direct experience working with children with special needs, I’m fully open and willing to learn whatever is necessary to provide the best care and support. I understand that every child is unique, and I’m committed to being patient, understanding, and flexible. I’m eager to receive guidance, training, or feedback from parents and professionals so I can grow and be a positive, helpful presence in the child’s life.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite part of being a nanny is watching children grow and change through each stage of their development. Being there for their first steps, first words, and all the little milestones in between is truly special to me. It allows me to build a strong bond with them and become a meaningful part of their lives. Supporting them as they learn, explore, and gain confidence is what makes this job so rewarding.
