I was a lifeguard for 3 years where I worked with many children at the pool. Whether it was little kids wanting me to watch their trick in the water or helping me test the chemicals, they were always a big part of my day to day work and ensuring their safety and fun.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Anything art related I am so down for. I am a very creative person myself, so finding crafts and art related activities are some of my favorite. Also, being from Georgia and being warm 75% of the year, getting the kids outside is so important to me. Whether it's playing baseball in the yard or taking a walk, I think a little bit of fresh air and sunshine does everyone some good.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids have fun! Of course ensuring their safety and that they are cared for, but I think making sure they actually have fun hanging out with me is so important. It allows me to build an actual relationship and trust with the kids I babysit rather than it just be a job.
