A little bit about me

My name is Katelin and I'm 30 years old. I have been babysitting since I was only 12 years old. I have babysat both at the home of the child and at my home. I prefer to be in my home due to having 2 of my own kids that I need to be here for when they get on and off the bus. They are 12 and 10. Both very wonderful girls! I will provide meals at no additional cost unless you prefer to send them with food. Playtime, naps if needed and anything you ask or require from me will be provided. I love kids and have loved all my experience of babysitting throughout the years!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have been babysitting since I was 12, both paid and unpaid. I have two daughters of my own, 12 and 10. I volunteered at the church to run the daycare there and also teach Sunday school for ages 5 and up. I also volunteer frequently at the school to help with activities, field trips and more.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking the kids outside and having little picnics. Playing ball, hula hooping, jump roping, etc. Anything outside, especially when it's warmer weather! Inside activities, I love finding arts and crafts to do with the kiddos, watching movies, letting them help me bake goodies (for the age appropriate kids) playing board games and so much more.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important thing to me about caring for children is showing them love, kindness and compassion. To me, I want them to always feel that they are in a safe and secure place with me.

My experience with special needs children...

I've had children in my care with autism, downsyndrone and Cystic Fibrosis. I have had to administer medicication and provide specific diets that met the children's needs.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I have many favorite memories of my time babysitting, but I guess my favorite memories would just be hearing the kiddos giggle about the most simple and little things. Can't forget the big hugs I would get! Those are always the best!
