Hello my name is Katelyn, I’m a crematory operator and junior college student studying mortuary science. I’m the second eldest of four siblings so busy days and light housework is something I’m very familiar with. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

on a Spanish emersion trip to South America, I was given the opportunity to connect with and donate to the orphans of "La casa Azul" in Lima, Peru... lol the most tiresome and laughter filled game of soccer I had ever played in my entire life was there.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy art and crafts... or really anything hands on. I'm a visual/tactile learner so the more simple and personalized the project is the better :)) I'm also very open to both outdoor/indoor activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me the most important part would have to be building connections and true bonds. I really believe children teach us way more than we give them credit for, so any Opportunity I have to learn from or grow with child.. I'm taking it! :)

My experience with special needs children...

I have both paid and unpaid experience working with children and adults with spacial needs/ learning disabilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I'll never forget the time I was at the park with a client and we made up this game called "ocean princess" (lol.. guess who was the princess) and I (the ocean police) had to save the princess from the lava monster.. which was also me.. just with a sweater on my head. The other kids saw how much fun we were having and decided to joined in on the game, in the end the lava monster monster was banded from the sea and forced to go back on land. Finally freeing the princess and the people of seaweed avenue.
