my last experience, it was with a new born, I took care of him during a year. it was a wonderful experience. i went to Greece as his au au pair, I took care of him as a mom, I taught him how to walk and play with his toys, how to explore outside at the nature, also how to eat by himself.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
If the kid that I will take care of is a baby, we could play with bubbles or colored balloons, we could play with toys of different textures or colors on the baby mat, we could listen to music and I could read stories to them. I would do my best for my host kids to learn, have fun and enjoy the time with me. if they are older kids would like to teach some crafts, we can play games related to the American or Colombian culture. I like to sing and we could do karaoke afternoons. I could teach them some Spanish words, we could go to the zoo or we can do their favorite activities. If they are young girls, I would like to do a spa day, we would have an afternoon of tea with teddy bears or we would play with dolls. If they are boys, I would like to learn to play baseball, hockey or any sport they like. We could learn simple things about cooking or we could play their favorite video games.

I can spend time with kids which make me happy, I can learn from them and they can learn from me. also I can improve my English skills and I can teach them spanish.
