More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I’ve been a teacher’s assistant in daycares, elementary schools, and childcare centers including a Montessori school. I’ve helped with caring for my younger family members in the past since they were babies, and seeing them all grown up and having the beautiful bond we have is something I’ll always cherish. I’ve volunteered at my past church’s children’s ministry to help care for children while their adults were at the service. I’m currently working as a nanny on weekday mornings to help facilitate a productive and fun-filled morning routine!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything crafty! I love a good craft session with some creative kiddos that helps you see the world from their perspective. I also love nature walks and going outdoors to see their exploration sides come out. Coloring is huge with me, and so are science experiments! Encouraging kids to explore their natural curiosity about the world and letting them take the lead in activities can create a fantastic environment where their confidence and creativity can really shine!

The most important part about being a nanny...

It's so important to communicate effectively with families. When there’s a lack of communication, misunderstandings can easily arise, and I truly want to avoid that. I believe it’s better to take the time to explain things thoroughly rather than risk missing out on important conversations. Being open and available for dialogue helps us all feel more connected and understood.

My experience with special needs children...

I have hands-on experience working with special needs children through various roles, including volunteering in a special needs elementary classroom, briefly working as a 1-on-1 behavioral aide in LAUSD, and interning at multiple special needs events for children. In these capacities, I’ve worked with children who have mild, moderate, and severe disabilities. These experiences have strengthened my ability to provide patient, adaptive, and compassionate care while supporting each child’s unique needs.
