A little bit about me

I have experience working as an infant teacher in a preschool for 2 years and as a toddler teacher for 1 year. The children aged from 6 weeks to 24 months old. I also would periodically help in the older classrooms where children ranged all the way up to age 5. My job consisted of supervising, feeding, napping, engaging the infants in curriculum-based activities and toys, and changing diapers. I would help create and implement the curriculum with the toddlers in a learn-by-playing atmosphere, such as through art, sensory play, dramatic play, reading books, singing songs, and outdoor discovery. I also provided emotional support and redirected children's negative or harmful behavior in a positive way.
I have experience working as a nanny for six years to a boy, who aged from 3 to 9 years old. I also have experience nannying to an 8-month old boy for about 6 months until he was a little over a year old.
