I’ve grown up taking care of 6 siblings. Started helping for around 10 years. Helped with others kids that my family was babysitting. I have 1 special needs sister who needed extra help as well. I’m very patient and learned to be more patient than I thought was possible from when I worked in customer service for 5-6 years.

The most important part about being a nanny...
Communication and safety is key. For nanny to parent, nanny to kiddo, and parent to kiddo. To keep us all in the same loop. Even if the kid gets less information because they don’t need to know everything. Just enough to understand what’s going on to be honest. That’s obviously up to you, YOU’ER THE BOSS :)
My experience with special needs children...
My older sister by a year. She is hearing impaired and likes to act like she can’t do anything lol. I know she is smarter than she lets on. I have so much faith in special needs kids to expand and feel comfortable with showing and sharing their knowledge
