More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked in an after school program called AmeriCorps in [phone number hidden]. I worked with kids from kindergarten through 5th grade while I was in college at Winthrop University. I also helped in a kindergarten classroom when I attended Winthrop University. I was a nanny for a family with three kids when my oldest was a toddler. I was a substitute teacher 5 times in my old hometown primary school in 4 different classrooms with the kids ages were 3-5 years old. I also love being around and taking caring of my best friends 6 children.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Anything hands on, holding and rocking the babies and little ones, spend time with them, play outside, color, play games inside, arts/crafts, and other activities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Tend to the babies and childrens needs. Treat them like your own. Shoe a caring loving and kind nature when working with little ones.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked as a substitute teacher (for 5 days) in 4 different classrooms. My first day i worked in a special Ed class (3-5 years old). The other 4 days substituted I worked in 3 different classrooms K-3 through Kindergarten. We did crafts, I read to them, I helped them with their activities, and anything else that was scheduled for that day. What was most rewarding working at the primary school and working with little ones is me knowing some of the students. Seeing their smiles, getting hugs, and hearing I love you.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Doing something that I love. To be around and working with babies and little ones is my passion. Such love coming from them little ones. Seeing them with smiles on their faces, hugs and kisses from them, artwork they made for me, and hearing them tell me ' I love you"
