I frequently babysit for my neighbors, attending to their 4 year old daughter. My longest term nannying job was for 2 years with 3 children, being a 2 year old girl, a 5 year old girl, and 9 year old boy.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy playing fun, creative activities with children like guessing games, hide and seek, arts and crafts, etc. I enjoy seeing the imagination of children, and most times, I will let them come up with a game and make adjustments if needed for their safety.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not currently have experience assisting a child with special needs, but I’m more than willing to learn and help in whatever ways possible.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment was a time I built a giant pillow fort with the 3 children I was taking care of, and we ran around the fort with empty paper towel rolls making train sounds through them. We were pretending the fort was a train station and that we were the trains.
