Hi! My name is Katie and I’m 21 years old!
My intention and goal as a nanny is to help your child/children grow and experience new things, and to also cultivate their creativity and help express themselves through their creative outlets. I’m a Christian so my approach in growing your child is rooted and backed by my faith. I’m here not only to care for your child, but to be a light in their life and to show God’s love. My goal is to go on many adventures with your child/children whether that be to the park, zoo, playgrounds, picnic’s, etc. I want to help grow them to be curious and adventurous by experiencing and learning new things. Trusting someone new with your kids is a very big and brave thing for a parent to do and because of this I want to not only build a trustworthy relationship with your child but also with you (the parents/caretakers)

I’ve served in my church’s children’s ministry for several years. Mainly in the
1-5yr old age groups.
I previously worked as a paid childcare employee for ages 5mo-12yrs old.
I currently serve in my church’s special needs ministry.
I’ve regularly babysat for families I’ve known through my church.

The most important part is the relationships and trust you create, as well as the foundations you have the privilege of helping build for that child/children.
You want to be a safe place for these kiddos to come to. You want them to feel fully seen, known, cared for, and loved, and that’s how I strive and intend to make them feel throughout my journey with them. However long that may be.

My experience with special needs children...

I currently serve in my church’s special needs ministry. I am fairly new to it, but I have always had a heart for special needs children and I absolutely love serving in this ministry. It is a one on one buddy system so the child I’m assigned to get’s all of my attention and love.
