Is knowing how much impact you have on kids day to day. So every little thing you say and do is important! To the way you encourage them, or fail to do so.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children with a variety of different needs in my work, from ADD/ADHD to more physical things like diabetes, asthma, PKU, epilepsy, etc. I have always been able to learn and adapt and grow with these children and their needs. I am by no means a specialist but am always willing to have a conversation about what your child needs and if I am equipped to meet those needs.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I have many favorite moments, but I love seeing my kids learn new things they thought they couldn’t do before, like tying their shoes! It’s such a great moment of happiness and accomplishment!
