Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have nannied full time for 5 families throughout my career. I worked in a daycare for 2 years and was a kindergarten teacher for 1 year. I play a large role in raising my niece and nephew, ages 12 and 14.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Hide and seek, scavenger hunts, storytelling, building blanket forts, picnics, library adventures, arts and crafts, dance parties, attending local community events, playground visits, assisting with homework, baking, card/board games, walks around the neighborhood, among many other things!

The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe and stimulating environment for the children. We can play and have fun while addressing emotional, nurturing, and developmental needs.

Building a close relationship with my nanny families is important to me. I still stay in touch with the family I nannied for the longest. They live in Chicago and we make trips down to see them. It is so rewarding to see how much the kids have grown and to still be a part of their lives.
