A little bit about me

Hello, my name is Katherine but I go by Katie. I have been working in childcare for a little over 10 years now. I started out as a date night babysitter in high school, once I graduated high school I became a daycare manager where I would help bring a small sliver of magic to kids daily life. While I was in college I continued to work as a nanny for 3 different families. Once I graduated and got my license as a registered veterinary technician I realized I just couldn't get over the fact I wasn't still working with kids. So l returned to the nanny scene and l am currently a nanny full time. Some of my favorite things to do with the kids I watch are trips to the zoo, baking, coloring, reading books, anything really that keeps them off of their screens! While in high school I volunteered at elementary schools and once I graduated high school I worked as a daycare manager until I left to become a nanny while pursuing higher education. In total I have cared for about 5 families long term now!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love taking the kids I watch on “field trips” such as going to the museums, the zoo, and new parks. As for indoor activities I love baking, cooking, reading, coloring, doing art/science projects. Honestly anything that keeps them off of their screen for a while.
