The most important part about being a nanny...

Is contributing to a childs experience and home with an intentional mindset that I can help direct their experience now for a positive future.
I also put an emphasis on age appropriate boundaries setting for ages 18months to 29 years of age. Having talks about stranger danger, to talks about how to properly address bullies, I find myself in a unique position to help prepare kids for a multitude of situations developmentally and intellectually.
I enjoy adding art and nature to each time I meet a child, finding their personal interests, and helping them learn through Montessori processes about their interests.

I also find myself playing a role of conferring with parents about how to overcome specific obstacles with their child, and it's very special to be apart of team that supports a child growing through their niche.

My experience with special needs children...

Im the oldest and only fully developed daughter a family with special needs kids. I have always been a caregiver by nature.
I have worked privately with three families with special needs kids.
I have also worked in a clinical housing program for developmentally challenged adults.
All together I have about 5 years work experience with special needs a citizens, and over 22,000 hours of care with special needs related work.

The most important part about being a nanny...

When a family celebrates a child success together.

Lincoln D. - Seeking Work in Knoxville

Babysitter Available in Knoxville, TN: Lincoln D.

Hi, I'm a duel enrollment student with high school and college. I am a great cook and know how to do light house cleaning. I have taken care of children of all ages before. I am the second oldest of 6 siblings. I am also knowledgeable in ways of communicating and caring for those with special needs. I am studying to be a psychiatrist, so working with children in any career path is a goal and dream of mine. I always love giving children a safe and healthy environment. I went through a tough childhood with my parents, so I know how hard it can be for both parent and child when times are tough. Being that extra help is something I find myself striving for. I am great at teaching school subject such as math, english, history, and science. If you have any pets that are also needing care. No extra cost, I would be more then happy to care for them. I am only experienced with dogs and cats though. I can work from 9am-10pm Mon-Sat. Feel free to messege or call me whenever!
