More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

At my church, I was a Sunday school teacher for preschoolers for about a year. I was also a camp counselor for children (8-16) for 3 years. While obtaining my degree, I was constantly volunteering in classrooms! I student taught in both a Christian academy and public school. I currently am a Elementary substitute. I have also taught English as a Second Language abroad in South America!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Reading books, crafting, learning about our local history, baking/cooking, one-on-one tutoring, & exploring the outdoors.

My experience with special needs children...

In my Sunday school classroom I did work with a preschooler who had a special need. I have also volunteered with college aged individuals with special needs.
