I enjoy planning and participating in activities with children such as arts and crafts, storytelling, educational games, outdoor play, and hands-on learning activities that encourage creativity, curiosity, and social development. For example, at the daycare, the children loved playing Among Us, so I created a classroom version of the game that made cleaning up the room fun by turning it into “tasks,” which kept them engaged while also encouraging responsibility.

The most important part about being a nanny is providing a safe, loving, and supportive environment where children feel secure, valued, and cared for. It is also about building trust and forming meaningful bonds with each child while supporting their emotional, social, and developmental growth. My experience working as an assistant daycare teacher during the summers, along with privately tutoring students from elementary to college level, has strengthened my ability to be patient, responsible, and attentive to individual needs. I strive to create engaging and educational experiences, while ensuring children feel comfortable and encouraged. My favorite moments are when the children I’ve cared for grow up and still remember me, the love I gave them, and return that affection. I once cared for a child at the daycare whom I would often hold and play with, as I absolutely love holding babies. I only worked with him during the summers because I attended school in the fall. Each summer when I returned, he would run to me, jump into my arms, and lay his head on my chest without wanting to move. Those moments truly melted my heart and are a big reason I developed such a strong love for working with children.
