More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked in child care for 2 years as a full time teacher. Including lesson planning , teaching the children the basics , using conscious discipline.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I do many arts and crafts , especially for the holidays I love to color and paint and love doing it with the children ! Especially anything sensory related !! As for outside it’s best to let the children decide as to where they would like to play outside I have found if they would like to color with chalk, blow bubbles or even bounce the ball.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to make sure the parents and children are both taken care of. Having children does most definitely take an army. For the parents to be able to come home and know their house is not a mess and their child has been taken care of and loved for.!!

My experience with special needs children...

I have had one child with special needs in one of my classes that was higher on the spectrum. As when it comes to early ADD/ADHD and or speech impediments
I have had many that have crossed my path and have been in my care. And have provided for their needs while caring for them the same as my other children and loving them all the same.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite teaching moments , are the day to day conversations I get to have with them or listen to them have with each other. For one example is I was dressed up as a princess for Halloween and being told I love very very fancy !
