"Kayden was always such a joy to be around, no matter how stressful a situation would get she always kept a smile on her face. She never took constructive critics the wrongly instead she would fix (nothing major) the issue and I believe that shows her amazing work ethic."

More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
My mom ran a at home daycare, where I assisted with all children and began learning my own skills! Along side of this I have a 5 year old brother I have cared for through out the years alongside babysitting many times for family friends! I do have experience with children with special needs as well!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Being active is very important to me! I absouletly love going for walks or taking a trip to the park! As someone studying to be a early childhood teacher as well in my future, learning and teaching basic skills is a favorite. Crafts, movie nights, all things I love and try to make as fun as possible while still intertwining learning!
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me the most important part about being a nanny, is being able to be someone for a child to trust and enjoy being around. We all know the feeling of having the babysitter we loved growing up and how from time to time those memories still get reminded. Childhood is a very important part in a humans life, so may as well make it fun and take advantage of learning time!
My experience with special needs children...
I have not personally worked with special needs children, although I do have a special needs uncle who I go out to dinner with and lunch almost once a month. We love going to the pool with his care giver or the zoo really anything to get him out of the house. This has lead to having knowledge of how to handle certain situations and communcation tactics that work best for us.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories that has taken place during nannying, was one time outside while playing tag one of the children tripped and fell down and had a small scrape on his knee. I ran over and carried him inside the house while he was his. scrape was red (but still perfectly okay just a small scrape ) and we did our make it better ritual! We had a song we would sing when we had small aches while we put our bandaid on. We cleaned him all up and he was ready to go back outside and continue playing. I enjoy every moment with the children I spend time with but things like this where I see something that could potentially be negative but we make positive are my favorites! We don't sweat the small stuff!
