I have two years of experience as a camp counselor, where I supervised and led activities for groups of children, ensuring their safety while making sure they had fun and stayed engaged. This role taught me how to manage different personalities, resolve conflicts calmly, and create a positive, inclusive environment.

I love keeping kids engaged with fun and meaningful activities! I enjoy reading stories, doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, and spending time outdoors. I’m also happy to help with homework, organize creative projects, or just play pretend and let their imaginations run wild. My goal is always to make sure they’re safe, happy, and entertained in ways that match their age and interests!

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is building trust with both the children and their parents. Kids thrive when they feel safe, understood, and cared for, and I believe creating that kind of connection is what truly makes a difference. It’s not just about watching them, it’s about supporting their growth, being a positive role model, and making sure they feel happy, secure, and loved while their parents are away!

One of my favorite moments was helping a shy little boy at camp feel comfortable enough to join group games for the first time. We spent time one-on-one practicing and talking about how fun it would be, and seeing his huge smile when he finally joined in was so rewarding. Moments like that remind me how important patience, encouragement, and connection are when caring for children!
